| I purchased an Install Edge (that's the name brand, I think it's made/sold by Rockford Fosgate) IEC PSI2. It listed as a "Universal Premium System Interface and Controller" which is the long way of saying it's a line output converter. It's not hard to install, but you will need the Nissan mating connectors (or you can splice directly into your vehicle harness). Along the lines of what BigTPupp said, you can adjust the output by putting in a CD that's as loud as you think you've got and then set the head unit volume up towards the maximum level (on one of my other cars, I set the volume about 3/4's the way to max). Then turn the trims on the converter so that the music is LOUD, but not distorting. That's a good baseline to start with. Then you can fine tune it at a later point if it doesn't sound right. I hope this helps. Dave
